Minneapolis Park Board, City Council, Board of Estimate & Taxation, and Mayor Inauguration

Inauguration of the Park Board, City Council and Mayor. This is open to the public, but you must register online to get tickets on a first-come, first-served basis. Other important information: “Hennepin Arts does not allow backpacks, signs, balloons, or outside food and drinks. Everyone must go through a metal detector, and bags will be checked before entering. MPRB Annual Meeting

This is the first meeting of the MPRB board of commissioners who will serve from January 2, 2026 to January 2, 2030. At this meeting, the commissioners will be sworn into office, will elect a President and Vice President, and will vote on external appointments to the Board of Estimate & Taxation and Minneapolis Planning Commission. The President will also assign commissioners to internal committees.
